The multi-repository documentation site generator for tech writers who love writing in AsciiDoc.
AsciiDoc is a lightweight markup language for authoring notes, articles, documentation, books, web pages, slide decks and man pages in plain text. This guide is a quick reference for the common AsciiDoc document and text formatting markup
This Open Source Guide is about LDAP, OpenLDAP 2.x and ApacheDS on Linux and the BSD's (FreeBSD, OpenBSD and NetBSD). It is meant for newbies, Rocket Scientist wannabees and anyone in between.
LDAP is a complex subject. This Guide was born out of our pathetic attempts to understand LDAP, since it promised a veritable nirvana - common source for information, unlimited scalability using a replication model, inherent resilience, fast read performance, fine-grained control over who can do what to what data - the list goes on. Wonderful stuff.
This Open Source Guide is about DNS and (mostly) BIND 9.x on Linux (Fedora Core), BSD's (FreeBSD, OpenBSD and NetBSD) and Windows (Windows 7 and 10). It is meant for newbies, Rocket Scientist wannabees and anyone in between.
This Guide was born out of our first attempts a number of years ago at trying to install a much needed DNS service on an early Redhat Linux system. We completed the DNS 'rite of passage' and found it a pretty unedifying and pointless experience.
Health Warning: This is still a work-in-progress. If you find errors don't grumble - tell us. Look at our to do list and if you want to contribute something please do so.
<gratuitous publicity> The newly published book Pro DNS and BIND was largely based on this material but significantly extends it - including DNS security (including DNSSEC.bis), IPv6, DNS APIs and complete reference sections on named.conf and RR types. We are outrageously biased but think it is an essential addition to the DNS admin's library. </gratuitious publicity>

Moving a file to a friend’s machine, when the humans can speak to each
other (directly) but the computers cannot -
Delivering a properly-random password to a new user via the phone
-
Supplying an SSH public key for future login use

The Go programming language is an open source project to make programmers more productive.
Go is expressive, concise, clean, and efficient. Its concurrency mechanisms make it easy to write programs that get the most out of multicore and networked machines, while its novel type system enables flexible and modular program construction. Go compiles quickly to machine code yet has the convenience of garbage collection and the power of run-time reflection. It's a fast, statically typed, compiled language that feels like a dynamically typed, interpreted language.
The Guide to IP Layer Network Administration with Linux was conceived as a project to document and provide examples for the use of Linux-specific IP networking tools.
The book includes coverage of the following topics: network address translation (NAT), address resolution protocol (ARP), routing, and masquerading. There is a nascent section on bridging, although the focus of the documentation is the use of layer 3 Linux technologies.
Modeled after documents hosted at TLDP, this effort is a contribution to the Linux community undertaken of free will and in free time. I intend to release the completed guide to TLDP for inclusion in the documentation repository.
