The OPC Unified Architecture (UA), released in 2008, is a platform independent service-oriented architecture that integrates all the functionality of the individual OPC Classic specifications into one extensible framework.
This multi-layered approach accomplishes the original design specification goals of:
- Functional equivalence: all COM OPC Classic specifications are mapped to UA
- Platform independence: from an embedded micro-controller to cloud-based infrastructure
- Secure: encryption, authentication, and auditing
- Extensible: ability to add new features without affecting existing applications
- Comprehensive information modeling: for defining complex information
Jami is a free and universal communication platform which preserves the user's privacy and freedoms.
Mattermost is an open-source team communication service bringing messaging and file sharing into one place, accessible across PCs and phones, with archiving and search (written in Golang and React). Because we’re open, you can host Mattermost on your own servers, and build whatever new functionality you need atop our core features.
Matrix is an open standard for decentralised communication, providing simple HTTP APIs and open source reference implementations for securely distributing and persisting JSON over an open federation of servers.
Prosody is a modern XMPP communication server. It aims to be easy to set up and configure, and efficient with system resources. Additionally, for developers it aims to be easy to extend and give a flexible system on which to rapidly develop added functionality, or prototype new protocols
