Wo sie zubeißen, hält kein Knochen stand. Dafür sind sie jahrhundertelang eigens gezüchtet worden. Doch heute sind die sogenannten Kampfhunde ein Problem für die Gesellschaft und die wenigen Auffangstationen platzen aus allen Nähten, auch weil viele Halter mit der Erziehung der Hunde überfordert sind. Wie stehen die Chancen auf eine Resozialisierung von Pitbull & Co?
Vanessa Bokr ist Hundetrainerin und weiß, wie sich Bisse anfühlen. Neulich erst blutete sie im Gesicht, ein Hund hatte zugepackt, Berufsrisiko, "da habe ich einen Moment nicht aufgepasst". Vanessa arbeitet mit auffälligen und gefährlichen Tieren. Ihre Auffangstation, die "Hellhounds Foundation" in der Lüneburger Heide, ist für Problemhunde oft die letzte Chance, der Todesspritze durch einen Tierarzt zu entgehen. Von den 50 Hunden, die Vanessa und ihre Helferinnen betreuen, haben mehr als ein Dutzend schon Menschen angefallen. Sie versuchen, diese Hunde wieder zu resozialisieren, sie in den Griff zu bekommen. Manchmal gelingt es, manchmal nicht. Es gibt Hunde, Vanessa nennt sie "Brecher", die nie wieder unter Menschen kommen werden. Bei "Murphy" besteht aber noch etwas Hoffnung. Der Doggenmix terrorisierte seine Halter, biss sie, beide wussten nicht mehr weiter. Als "Murphy" einen anderen Hund attackierte, gab es von Amtswegen nur die Wahl: ins Tierheim oder den Hund so trainieren, dass er einen Wesenstest besteht - den Test, der zeigen soll, dass der Hund wahrscheinlich keine Gefahr mehr darstellt. Der Tag, an dem Vanessa mit "Murphy" zur Tiermedizinischen Hochschule Hannover fährt, um ihn dort von Experten testen zu lassen, wird ein Schicksalstag für Hund, Herrchen und Frauchen. Denn beide Halter wollen ihren "Murphy" unbedingt zurück.

Die Hellhound Foundation bietet Platz für jene Hunde, die auf Schutz und Hilfe angewiesen sind.
Das Domizil der Hellhounds liegt im Ortsteil Hörpel der Stadt Bispingen im Bundesland Niedersachsen und ist ganz einfach von der Autobahn zu erreichen. Bis nach Soltau sind es ca. 26 km und bis nach Hamburg sind es ca. 54 km - somit liegen wir nicht all zu weit vom Tumult entfernt, können jedoch die Ruhe auf dem Land genießen.
Wir setzen nach und nach unsere Pläne fort eine Einrichtung mit Hundepension, Hundeschule und Resozialisierungsstätte, die sich im Schwerpunkt um verhaltensauffällige und problematische Hunde kümmert, zu errichten. Bei uns sind nicht nur Tierschutzhunde auf dem Abstellgleis willkommen, sondern auch Hunde, die bereits tolle Besitzer haben, denen das Leben durch Standard-Pensionen und -Hundeschulen, welche schwierigere Klienten kategorisch ablehnen, schwer gemacht wird.
The cloud native landscape can be complicated and confusing. Its myriad of open source projects are supported by the constant contributions of a vibrant and expansive community. The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) has a landscape map that shows the full extent of cloud native solutions, many of which are under their umbrella.
As a CNCF ambassador, I am actively engaged in promoting community efforts and cloud native education throughout Canada. At CloudOps I lead workshops on Docker and Kubernetes that provide an introduction to cloud native technologies and help DevOps teams operate their applications.
I also organize Kubernetes and Cloud Native meetups that bring in speakers from around the world and represent a variety of projects. Open Kinetic is an open source Collaborative Project formed under the auspices of the Linux Foundation dedicated to creating an open standard around Ethernet-enabled, key/value Kinetic devices.
Kinetic is a drive architecture in which the drive is a key/value server with Ethernet connectivity. The architecture is inspired by the scale out data center in which Ethernet and Linux are ubiquitous, open source software reduces barriers to entry, and hardware is becoming more commoditized.
