The general consensus is that is too hard or too expensive to run a small business on entirely free software. After running my company for 5 years on entirely free software I think this is not the case. We have instant communication, shared calendars, groupware, single sign on, and a single administration interface! Things have worked out really well and in many ways are better integrated than trying to combine multiple different cloud based services.
In this talk I will walk through how our infrastructure works, what the pitfalls were, and what the benefits are. At the end I'll give a short demo on a couple of virtual machines to show off the user and admin experience.
A new typeface – greater legibility and readability for low vision readers
Atkinson Hyperlegible font is named after Braille Institute founder, J. Robert Atkinson. Every designer has their own preferred set of go-to fonts, a dependable set of serifs and sans-serifs that'll cover most eventualities. When you're in need of a weird font, you're not always sure exactly what you're looking for; it's the sort of thing that you'll only recognise when you see it. So to help you out, we've gathered together 10 of our favourite weird and unusual fonts for you to download for free today (see more of our favourite free fonts here). All of them are free to use for personal work, and some of them can be used commercially too.
Droid-Break is a list of free and open source Android apps inspired by Prism-Break. Our purpose is to show you high quality alternatives to the big proprietary solutions.
Please note that open source apps don't guarantee absolute freedom, e.g., an open source Twitter client still sends everything to Twitter's servers.
Anyway, we believe it's the best we can come up with and that in many cases it's the better choice.
If you think an app should be added please write an email, a tweet, a Disqus comment, or fork the project on GitHub and make a pull request.
You will find most of these apps in the F-Droid repository. Also, you might want to consider flashing a custom ROM like LineageOS or Replicant on your device.

Inconsolata is my first serious original font release. It is a monospace font, designed for code listings and the like, in print. There are a great many "programmer fonts," designed primarily for use on the screen, but in most cases do not have the attention to detail for high resolution rendering.
