Talos Linux is a modern Linux distribution built for Kubernetes.
GoBGP is an open source Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) implementation designed from scratch for modern environment and implemented in a modern programming language, the Go Programming Language.
This tool reads a configuration file, checks it for syntax and semantic correctness, and then reconciles a running VPP daemon with its configuration. It is meant to be re-entrant and stateless. The tool connects to the VPP API and creates/removes all of the configuration in a minimally intrusive way.
NOTE This code is under development, and probably won't work well until this note is removed. If you're interested in helping, reach out to <pim at ipng dot ch> to discuss options.
Fastbin is a drop in replacement of pycasbin the python implementation of the great authorization management casbin.
Fastbin is designed to address the primary concern when working with large sets of rules; Performance.
The root cause of working with large rule sets is the following: casbin/core_enforcer.py#L238
Iterating over 10,000 rules to get a yes or no answer takes time, there really isn't a way around the fact. This limitation comes from the generalization that casbin attempts to support. Independent on the format of your request, or policy definition casbin if able to support your authorization mechanism.
Fastbin makes a minimal set of assumptions to allow efficient filtering of the model so that the number of rules you are iterating over to get a result is much smaller and performance can be maintained. Using Fastbin when working with rule sets of any size, it is possible to keep resolution of enforcement sub millisecond.

A command-line tool for working with a log of Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
An Architectural Decision (AD) is a justified design choice that addresses a functional or non-functional requirement that is architecturally significant. An Architecturally Significant Requirement (ASR) is a requirement that has a measurable effect on the architecture and quality of a software and/or hardware system. An Architectural Decision Record (ADR) captures a single AD and its rationale; the collection of ADRs created and maintained in a project constitute its decision log. All these are within the topic of Architectural Knowledge Management (AKM), but ADR usage can be extended to design and other decisions (“any decision record”).
The aim of the GitHub adr organization is to:
- Motivate the need for and benefits of AD capturing and establish a common vocabulary.
- Strengthen the tooling around ADRs, in support of agile practices as well as iterative and incremental engineering processes.
- Provide pointers to public knowledge in the context of AKM and ADRs.
The repository for the Website of the ADR organization is https://github.com/adr/adr.github.io.
This plugin is designed to help to publish your Antora docs into Confluence. The main reason is, that we want to have a single source of truth for our documentation. We want to write our documentation in AsciiDoc and publish it to Confluence as some of our Stakeholders are using Confluence.
The captain offers the following options:
- Publish your whole Antora docs to Confluence
- Publish only selected pages/ folders, by using filters
- Control where the docs should be published by setting an
overall parent page in Confluence - Decide if you want to inform your readers that those pages are
- generated by automation by applying a banner.

Setting up a new machine is time-consuming, and becomes complicated when it needs to be done remotely. If you're installing NixOS, the nixos-anywhere tool allows you to pre-configure the whole process including:
- Disk partitioning and formatting
- Configuring and installing NixOS
- Installing additional files and software
You can then initiate an unattended installation with a single CLI command. Since nixos-anywhere can access the new machine using SSH, it's ideal for remote installations.
Once you have initiated the command, there is no need to 'babysit' the installation. It all happens automatically.
You can use the stored configuration to repeat the same installation if you need to.
Bats is a TAP-compliant testing framework for Bash. It provides a simple way to verify that the UNIX programs you write behave as expected.
A Bats test file is a Bash script with special syntax for defining test cases. Under the hood, each test case is just a function with a description.

Ansible Builder is a tool that automates the process of building execution environments using the schemas and tooling defined in various Ansible Collections and by the user.
@abstractmethod
def run(self, terms, variables=None, **kwargs):
"""
When the playbook specifies a lookup, this method is run. The
arguments to the lookup become the arguments to this method. One
additional keyword argument named variables is added to the method
call. It contains the variables available to ansible at the time the
lookup is templated. For instance::
"{{ lookup('url', 'https://toshio.fedorapeople.org/one.txt', validate_certs=True) }}"
would end up calling the lookup plugin named url's run method like this::
run(['https://toshio.fedorapeople.org/one.txt'], variables=available_variables, validate_certs=True)
Lookup plugins can be used within playbooks for looping. When this
happens, the first argument is a list containing the terms. Lookup
plugins can also be called from within playbooks to return their
values into a variable or parameter. If the user passes a string in
this case, it is converted into a list.
Errors encountered during execution should be returned by raising
AnsibleError() with a message describing the error.
Any strings returned by this method that could ever contain non-ascii
must be converted into python's unicode type as the strings will be run
through jinja2 which has this requirement. You can use::
from ansible.module_utils._text import to_text
result_string = to_text(result_string)
"""
