OpenWebRX is a multi-user SDR receiver that can be operated from any web browser without the need for any additional client software. It is the ideal solution to provide access to the HF spectrum at your location of choice to a wide audience. All you need is a computer, an SDR device and network access.
OpenWebRX aims to support as many modulations and encodings as possible, while still focusing on an easy-to-use interface, so that even inexperienced users can explore the HF spectrum without the need to buy expensive radio equipment.
Receiverbook is a free directory service listing online SDR receivers from your area or all around the world. Why don't you try it out?

Scrapy is a fast high-level web crawling and web scraping framework, used to crawl websites and extract structured data from their pages. It can be used for a wide range of purposes, from data mining to monitoring and automated testing.
This post highlights a few powerful lines of CSS that do some serious heavy lifting and help you build robust modern layouts.
ArchiveBox takes a list of website URLs you want to archive, and creates a local, static, browsable HTML clone of the content from those websites (it saves HTML, JS, media files, PDFs, images and more).
You can use it to preserve access to websites you care about by storing them locally offline. ArchiveBox imports lists of URLs, renders the pages in a headless, authenticated, user-scriptable browser, and then archives the content in multiple redundant common formats (HTML, PDF, PNG, WARC) that will last long after the originals disappear off the internet. It automatically extracts assets and media from pages and saves them in easily-accessible folders, with out-of-the-box support for extracting git repositories, audio, video, subtitles, images, PDFs, and more.
A flexible and powerful static content management system for building complex and beautiful websites out of flat files — for people who do not want to make a compromise between a CMS and a static blog engine.
Getting your ideas implemented is as easy as frying an egg.
FastAPI is a modern, fast (high-performance), web framework for building APIs with Python 3.6+ based on standard Python type hints.
The key features are:
-
Fast: Very high performance, on par with NodeJS and Go (thanks to Starlette and Pydantic). One of the fastest Python frameworks available.
-
Fast to code: Increase the speed to develop features by about 200% to 300% *.
-
Fewer bugs: Reduce about 40% of human (developer) induced errors. *
-
Intuitive: Great editor support. Completion everywhere. Less time debugging.
-
Easy: Designed to be easy to use and learn. Less time reading docs.
-
Short: Minimize code duplication. Multiple features from each parameter declaration. Fewer bugs.
-
Robust: Get production-ready code. With automatic interactive documentation.
-
Standards-based: Based on (and fully compatible with) the open standards for APIs: OpenAPI (previously known as Swagger) and JSON Schema.
Cornice provides helpers to build & document REST-ish Web Services with Pyramid, with decent default behaviors. It takes care of following the HTTP specification in an automated way where possible.
We designed and implemented cornice in a really simple way, so it is easy to use and you can get started in a matter of minutes.
Web Services Made Easy (WSME) simplifies the writing of REST web services by providing simple yet powerful typing, removing the need to directly manipulate the request and the response objects.
WSME can work standalone or on top of your favorite Python web (micro)framework, so you can use both your preferred way of routing your REST requests and most of the features of WSME that rely on the typing system like:
Alternate protocols, including those supporting batch-calls
Easy documentation through a Sphinx extension
WSME is originally a rewrite of TGWebServices with a focus on extensibility, framework-independance and better type handling.

In the past few years, a technique called browser fingerprinting has received a lot of attention because of the risks it can pose to privacy. What is it? How is it used? What is Tor Browser doing against it? In this blog post, I’m here to answer these questions. Let’s get started!

Translated into 29 languagesJoplin is a free, open source note taking and to-do application, which can handle a large number of notes organised into notebooks. The notes are searchable, can be copied, tagged and modified either from the applications directly or from your own text editor. The notes are in Markdown format.
Notes exported from Evernote via .enex files can be imported into Joplin, including the formatted content (which is converted to Markdown), resources (images, attachments, etc.) and complete metadata (geolocation, updated time, created time, etc.). Plain Markdown files can also be imported.
The notes can be synchronised with various cloud services including Nextcloud, Dropbox, OneDrive, WebDAV or the file system (for example with a network directory). When synchronising the notes, notebooks, tags and other metadata are saved to plain text files which can be easily inspected, backed up and moved around.
The application is available for Windows, Linux, macOS, Android and iOS. A Web Clipper, to save web pages and screenshots from your browser, is also available for Firefox and Chrome.
