Für viele ist er Deutschlands bester Autofahrer aller Zeiten: Walter Röhrl. Zweifacher Rallye-Weltmeister 1980 und 1982. Viermaliger Sieger der legendären Rallye Monte Carlo. Er ist der einzige deutsche Weltmeister und der Erste, der bei der "Monte" mit vier verschiedenen Autos triumphierte. Fiat, Opel, Lancia und Audi.
Bis heute gilt er als der perfekte Fahrer. Keiner war so akribisch in der Vorbereitung. Keiner konnte sich so auf den Punkt konzentrieren. Durch die engen Kurven auf Schnee und Eis rasen, immer wenige Millimeter am Abgrund.
So erfolgreich Röhrl war, so streitbar war er auch. Einer, der immer sagte - und immer noch sagt -, was er denkt. Auch wenn er damit nicht jedermanns Liebling wurde und ist. Bis heute. Autos waren auch nach seiner Karriere sein Lebens-Thema: als Testfahrer, Entwickler und Mahner für mehr Fahrsicherheit.

Within Temptation's fifth studio album "The Unforgiving" is based on the comic storyline, therefore the band has released three short films as well. These short films, Mother Maiden, Sinéad and Triplets are all followed by a band performance and all together, form a dark and compelling tale of life, love, revenge, rage, and regret. The first movie, titled "Mother Maiden", ties in with the band's first single & video for 'Faster', introducing the main characters of the narrative.
An afternoon rooftop show above the Republic liquor store at 7th and Main was shut down by police as a result of the huge crowds that descended on downtown Los Angeles to see the band perform the opening track from The Joshua Tree album in March 1987 for this video by Meiert Avis.
