unAsService is a command line tool that allows you to setup a regular console application to run as a service.
This tool requires that .NET Framework 4.5 be already installed on your computer. If you do not have .NET Framework 4.5 this tool will display a message and not run.
IMPORTANT: Any services you install using this tool will require that this tool remain on that computer in the same location in order for those services to continue functioning. Therefore before installing any services you should make sure this tool is somewhere where it can remain permanently. If you do end up moving this tool use the 'fixservices' action to fix the existing services. (details on how to use 'fixservices' can be found below)
RunAsService Typing just the name of the tool without specifying any parameters. Or specifying incorrect paramters will bring you to this help screen you are currently reading.
RunAsService install [Name] [Display Name] PathToExecutable [Args] Name The name of the service, if none is specified the name will default to the name of the executable.
nssm is a service helper which doesn't suck. srvany and other service helper programs suck because they don't handle failure of the application running as a service. If you use such a program you may see a service listed as started when in fact the application has died. nssm monitors the running service and will restart it if it dies. With nssm you know that if a service says it's running, it really is. Alternatively, if your application is well-behaved you can configure nssm to absolve all responsibility for restarting it and let Windows take care of recovery actions.
nssm logs its progress to the system Event Log so you can get some idea of why an application isn't behaving as it should.
nssm also features a graphical service installation and removal facility. Prior to version 2.19 it did suck. Now it's quite a bit better.
Krita is a sketching and painting program designed for digital artists. Our vision for Development of Krita is —
Krita is a free and open source cross-platform application that offers an end-to-end solution for creating digital art files from scratch. Krita is optimized for frequent, prolonged and focused use. Explicitly supported fields of painting are illustrations, concept art, matte painting, textures, comics and animations. Developed together with users, Krita is an application that supports their actual needs and workflow. Krita supports open standards and interoperates with other applications.
Krita’s tools are developed keeping the above vision in mind. Although it has features that overlap with other raster editors its intended purpose is to provide robust tool for digital painting and creating artworks from scratch. As you learn about Krita, keep in mind that it is not intended as a replacement for Photoshop. This means that the other programs may have more features than Krita for image manipulation tasks, such as stitching together photos, while Krita’s tools are most relevant to digital painting, concept art, illustration, and texturing. This fact accounts for a great deal of Krita’s design.

I'm a prisoner
of words unsaid
Just lonely feelings
Locked away in my head
I trap myself further
Every time I stay, quiet
I should start to speak
But I stop and stay silent
And now I've made
My own hard bed
Inside this prison of words unsaid
P.O.W.
That's what I am
Not a prisoner of war
A prisoner of words
Mostly I say what you wanna hear
Could you take it if I came clear?
Or would you rather just see me
Stoned on a drug of complacency and compromise
M.I.A.
I guess that's what I am
Scraping this cold hard earth
For a piece of myself
For peace in myself
It'd be easier if you just put me in jail
You know, if you locked me away
I'd have someone to blame
But these bars of steel are of my making
They surround my mind
And have me shaking
My hands are cuffed behind my back
I'm a prisoner of the worst kind, in fact
A prisoner of compromise
A prisoner of compassion
A prisoner of kindness
A prisoner of expectation
A prisoner of my youth
Run too fast to be old
I've forgotten what I was told
Ain't I a sight to behold?
A prisoner of age dying to be young
To my head is my hand with a gun
And it's cold and it's hard
Cause there's nowhere to run
When you've caged yourself
By holding your tongue
I'm a prisoner
Of words unsaid
Just lonely feelings
Locked away in my head
It's like solitary confinement
Every time I stay quiet
I should start to speak
But I stop and stay silent
And now I've made
My own hard bed
Inside a prison of words unsaidBest Practices Projekte
- AMD Ryzen™ 5000U-Series
- AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800U Zen3 8c16t 8c GPU
- 2 x 260-pin SO-DIMM up to 64GB DDR4 3200 MHz
- 3 x USB 3.2 Gen2, 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x M.2 Key M, 1 x M.2 Key E(WiFi-6E), 1 x SATA3
- 1 x Realtek 1 Gigabit LAN (support DASH), 1 x Realtek 2.5 Gigabit LAN
- Supports Quad display, 1 x HDMI 2.0a, 3 x DP 1.2a (2 from Type C)
- TPM 2.0 onboard IC
- 19V/90W Power Adapter
- 110.0 x 117.5 x 47.85mm, Fanned Barebone
Ja, wir haben Fehler gemacht. Jede Menge Fehler sogar.

Refactoring.Guru makes it easy for you to discover everything you need to know about refactoring, design patterns, SOLID principles, and other smart programming topics.
This site shows you the big picture, how all these subjects intersect, work together, and are still relevant. I don’t pretend to be the inventor of these concepts—most of them were invented by others during the past 20 years. But I think that the connection between refactoring, patterns and general programming principles still remains a mystery for the majority of programmers. This is the problem I would like to solve here.
