What is Pingora
Pingora is a Rust framework to build fast, reliable and programmable networked systems.
Pingora is battle tested as it has been serving more than 40 million Internet requests per second for more than a few years.
Feature highlights
- Async Rust: fast and reliable
- HTTP 1/2 end to end proxy
- TLS over OpenSSL or BoringSSL
- gRPC and websocket proxying
- Graceful reload
- Customizable load balancing and failover strategies
- Support for a variety of observability tools
Getting started
See our quick starting guide to see how easy it is to build a load balancer.
Our user guide covers more topics such as how to configure and run Pingora servers, as well as how to build custom HTTP server and proxy logic on top of Pingora's framework.
API docs are also available for all the crates.
HAProxy is a free, very fast and reliable reverse-proxy offering high availability, load balancing, and proxying for TCP and HTTP-based applications. It is particularly suited for very high traffic web sites and powers a significant portion of the world's most visited ones. Over the years it has become the de-facto standard opensource load balancer, is now shipped with most mainstream Linux distributions, and is often deployed by default in cloud platforms. Since it does not advertise itself, we only know it's used when the admins report it :-)
The HAProxy core team maintains multiple versions in parallel. Since version 1.8, two major version are emitted every year. The first digit usually indicates a breaking change (config format etc) but in practice rarely changes. The second digit indicates new features. Both constitute a branch. One extra number appears after these digits to indicate the bug fix release.
Small, fast, modern HTTP server.
Cowboy is the ultimate server for the modern Web with support for Websocket, HTTP/2 and REST.
This part of the documentation covers all the interfaces of Requests. For parts where Requests depends on external libraries, we document the most important right here and provide links to the canonical documentation.
Requests is an elegant and simple HTTP library for Python, built for human beings.
Requests allows you to send HTTP/1.1 requests extremely easily. There’s no need to manually add query strings to your URLs, or to form-encode your POST data. Keep-alive and HTTP connection pooling are 100% automatic, thanks to urllib3.
Beloved Features:
- Requests is ready for today’s web.
- Keep-Alive & Connection Pooling
- International Domains and URLs
- Sessions with Cookie Persistence
- Browser-style SSL Verification
- Automatic Content Decoding
- Basic/Digest Authentication
- Elegant Key/Value Cookies
- Automatic Decompression
- Unicode Response Bodies
- HTTP(S) Proxy Support
- Multipart File Uploads
- Streaming Downloads
- Connection Timeouts
- Chunked Requests
- .netrc Support
Requests officially supports Python 2.7 & 3.6+, and runs great on PyPy.
Fabio is an HTTP and TCP reverse proxy that configures itself with data from Consul.
Traditional load balancers and reverse proxies need to be configured with a config file. The configuration contains the hostnames and paths the proxy is forwarding to upstream services. This process can be automated with tools like consul-template that generate config files and trigger a reload.
Fabio works differently since it updates its routing table directly from the data stored in Consul as soon as there is a change and without restart or reloading.
When you register a service in Consul all you need to add is a tag that announces the paths the upstream service accepts, e.g. urlprefix-/user or urlprefix-/order and fabio will do the rest.
Webbkoll hilft Dir festzustellen, welche datenschutzrechtlichen Maßnahmen eine Website ergriffen hat, um Dir die Kontrolle über Deine Privatsphäre zu geben.
Bitte beachte:
1. Dieses Tool simuliert einen normalen Browser mit ausgeschalteter "Do Not Track" Funktion (ist bei den meisten die Standardeinstellung) und ohne Erweiterungen.
5. Feedback ist willkommen: Sende uns eine Email oder berichte einen Fehler.HTTP Prompt is an interactive command-line HTTP client featuring autocomplete and syntax highlighting.

Jolokia is remote JMX with JSON over HTTP.
It is fast, simple, polyglot and has unique features. It's JMX on Capsaicin.
Jolokia is a JMX-HTTP bridge giving an alternative to JSR-160 connectors. It is an agent based approach with support for many platforms. In addition to basic JMX operations it enhances JMX remoting with unique features like bulk requests and fine grained security policies.
hey is a tiny program that sends some load to a web application.
hey was originally called boom and was influenced from Tarek Ziade's tool at tarekziade/boom. Using the same name was a mistake as it resulted in cases where binary name conflicts created confusion. To preserve the name for its original owner, we renamed this project to hey.
Gunicorn 'Green Unicorn' is a Python WSGI HTTP Server for UNIX. It's a pre-fork worker model. The Gunicorn server is broadly compatible with various web frameworks, simply implemented, light on server resources, and fairly speedy.
Siege is an http load testing and benchmarking utility. It was designed to let web developers measure their code under duress, to see how it will stand up to load on the internet. Siege supports basic authentication, cookies, HTTP, HTTPS and FTP protocols. It lets its user hit a server with a configurable number of simulated clients. Those clients place the server “under siege.”
The KV endpoint is used to access Consul's simple key/value store, useful for storing service configuration or other metadata.
