A collection of lints to catch common mistakes and improve your Rust code.
There are over 700 lints included in this crate!
Lints are divided into categories, each with a default lint level. You can choose how much Clippy is supposed to annoy help you by changing the lint level by category.
Ferrocene is the main Rust compiler - rustc - but quality managed and qualified for use in automotive and industrial environments (currently by ISO 26262 and IEC 61508) by Ferrous Systems. It operates as a downstream to the Rust project, further increasing its testing and quality on specific platforms. We will publish further detailed blog posts on the components and changes in Ferrocene in the coming weeks.
All changes we made to increase the quality of the Rust compiler have already made it to the main Rust project upstream. See Pietro’s blog post for more details.
Bats is a TAP-compliant testing framework for Bash. It provides a simple way to verify that the UNIX programs you write behave as expected.
A Bats test file is a Bash script with special syntax for defining test cases. Under the hood, each test case is just a function with a description.
docToolchain is composed of two parts:
-
doctoolchain which is the toolchain used to create your documentation
-
the docToolchain shell wrapper script installed in your project which calls the toolchain
The use of this setup has the following advantages:
-
It’s easy to build your documentation within your project folder.
-
Ensures that everyone in the project uses the same docToolchain version.
-
Keeps all docToolchain technology out of your project repository.
-
Facilitates the installation of the docToolchain if not installed.
-
Makes it easier to upgrade to never versions of docToolchain.

This document describes a language for filtering email messages at time of final delivery. It is designed to be implementable on either a mail client or mail server. It is meant to be extensible, simple, and independent of access protocol, mail architecture, and operating system. It is suitable for running on a mail server where users may not be allowed to execute arbitrary programs, such as on black box Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) servers, as the base language has no variables, loops, or ability to shell out to external programs.

K is a rewrite-based executable semantic framework in which programming languages, type systems and formal analysis tools can be defined using configurations and rules. Configurations organize the state in units called cells, which are labeled and can be nested. K rewrite rules make it explicit which parts of the term are read-only, write-only, read-write, or unused. This makes K suitable for defining truly concurrent languages even in the presence of sharing. Computations are represented as syntactic extensions of the original language abstract syntax, using a nested list structure which sequentializes computational tasks, such as program fragments. Computations are like any other terms in a rewriting environment: they can be matched, moved from one place to another, modified, or deleted. This makes K suitable for defining control-intensive features such as abrupt termination, exceptions, or call/cc.

Reproducible
Nix builds packages in isolation from each other. This ensures that they
are reproducible and don't have undeclared dependencies, so if a package
works on one machine, it will also work on another. -
Declarative
Nix makes it trivial to share development and build environments for your
projects, regardless of what programming languages and tools you’re
using. -
Reliable
Nix ensures that installing or upgrading one package cannot break other
packages. It allows you to roll back to previous versions, and ensures that
no package is in an inconsistent state during an upgrade. -

Ansible offers two ways to reuse files and roles in a playbook: dynamic and static.
-
For reuse, add an include_* task in the tasks section of a play:
- include_role
- include_tasks
- include_vars
-
For static reuse, add an import_* task in the tasks section of a play:
- import_role
- import_tasks
Task include and import statements can be used at arbitrary depth.
You can still use the bare roles keyword at the play level to incorporate a role in a playbook statically. However, the bare include keyword, once used for both task files and playbook-level includes, is now deprecated.
GnuPG is a tool for secure communication. This chapter is a quick-start guide that covers the core functionality of GnuPG. This includes keypair creation, exchanging and verifying keys, encrypting and decrypting documents, and authenticating documents with digital signatures. It does not explain in detail the concepts behind public-key cryptography, encryption, and digital signatures. This is covered in Chapter 2. It also does not explain how to use GnuPG wisely. This is covered in Chapters 3 and 4.
GnuPG uses public-key cryptography so that users may communicate securely. In a public-key system, each user has a pair of keys consisting of a private key and a public key. A user's private key is kept secret; it need never be revealed. The public key may be given to anyone with whom the user wants to communicate. GnuPG uses a somewhat more sophisticated scheme in which a user has a primary keypair and then zero or more additional subordinate keypairs. The primary and subordinate keypairs are bundled to facilitate key management and the bundle can often be considered simply as one keypair.
This manual documents how to use the GNU Privacy Guard system as well as the administration and the architecture.

ansible-navigator is a command-line tool and a text-based user interface (TUI) for creating, reviewing, running and troubleshooting Ansible content, including inventories, playbooks, collections, documentation and container images (execution environments).
A demo of the interface can be found on YouTube.
To learn how to easily start leveraging the container technology with ansible-navigator, see the Getting started with Execution Environments guide.
